Neal was born in Mooresville, Indiana but has spent over
fifty summers in the high mountain country of Crystal,
Colorado. His most memorable times were spent there, climbing
mountains, driving jeep tours, and even working in one
of the old silver mines at the age of fourteen. Roger's
mining cabin in Crystal is located across the street from
his sister and brother-in-law's cabin. People often come
to his mountain home seeking advice about fishing, mountain
climbing, four wheeling and mine locations.
